If you want to update your apps manually, open “My Apps†as above and look to the top menu. You should see an update box a couple along from Options. Select that, and you'll find a list of apps that need updates. From there, select one or select all and allow them to update.
With the Remote: For most people, the easiest way is to hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and on again. This should only take about 5 seconds.
Here's how to do it:
- Tap the Home button on your Samsung smart TV's remote control.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Apps.
- Go to the System apps.
- Choose the app you want to clear the cache with.
- Tap on “Clear cacheâ€.
- Tap OK to confirm.

Update over the internetUsing your TV's remote, navigate to Settings, and select Support.Select Software Update, and then select Update Now. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete.
Netflix says 'Network error: There is a problem connecting to'
- Make sure your network allows streaming.
- Test your internet connection.
- Improve your Wi-Fi signal.
- Go to Netflix.com on a web browser.
- Restart your home network.
- Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
- Reset the Netflix app.
Open the Google Play Store app. Tap the Menu icon, then My Apps. Apps with available updates are labelled Update. Select Netflix and tap Update.
Navigate to . After signing in, select the profile you would like to watch Netflix from. Enter the code in the Enter code field. Click Activate.

1.The wireless option – connect over your home Wi-Fi
- Hit the Menu button on your TV remote.
- Choose the Network Settings option then Set up a wireless connection.
- Select the wireless network name for your home Wi-Fi.
- Type your Wi-Fi password using your remote's button.
When facing the TV, certain models have the TV Controller situated under the front panel on the middle or right-hand side. Single press the button to bring up the menu. Then, single press the button to move along the menu. Long press the center button to make your selection.
You can access Smart Hub on your Smart TV by selecting the 'Menu/123' button on your remote. From there, click 'Menu' in the upper left-hand corner on the screen. Next, select 'Smart Hub,' 'Samsung Account,' and 'Sign in.
As we mentioned above, there is no way to stream movies and shows from Netflix without being connected to a sort of network. But if you have content downloaded to your device locally, you can use Chromecast to put it on a TV.
Restart your home network
- Turn off your device.
- Unplug both your modem and router and wait 30 seconds.
- Plug in your modem and wait until no new indicator lights are blinking on.
- Plug in your router and wait until no new indicator lights are blinking on.
- Turn on your device and try Netflix again.
According to Netflix, the first is to turn your TV off, and unplug it. Then wait for 2 minutes, turn it back on, and try to load the app again. If that doesn't work you'll want to contact Samsung customer support. Another common issue is that your Netflix app might just 'crash' where it closes itself all of a sudden.
You may be using Google Home screen mirroring to watch Netflix from your phone. Make sure your phone or tablet is on the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast device. Open the Google Home app. Tap your Chromecast device, then tap Stop mirroring.
Take the TV remote and open the settings menu. Search for Network Settings. Once you find your wireless network, please select it and enter your Wifi password through remote control. Now, you're ready to see your favorite Netflix TV series, show, or movie on your TV screen.
