Now, in Assassin's Creed lore, we know that Amunet (Aya) goes on to eventually kill Cleopatra by way of an asp (a poisonous snake).
While it's satisfying to dual wield or carry a weapon and a shield, leaving your left-hand empty will allow you the unique ability to use the Hidden Blade in combat. Tapping the block button as an enemy swings will parry their attack, and holding it down will cause Eivor to viciously stab them in the gut.
This skill enables you to kill 2 enemies standing side by side in a single action. In order to use this skill you have to sneak up to the first opponent, initiate a stealth attack, turn the camera towards the second nearby opponent and press the stealth attack button (R1 / RB) again to throw the axe at the target.
Assassin's Creed: Origins expands the series's stealth lexicon by ripping bits out of Ubisoft's other games: your eagle is the drone from Ghost Recon Wildlands; and you can burst open the enclosures around caged animals to make them fight for you, like in Far Cry.
Acquiring the Hidden Blade in Origins is pretty straightforward -- you'll be able to get it when you arrive in Alexandria, during the main story quest, "Aya". (If you're keeping count, it's the fifth quest in the main questline, excluding the Prologue.)
The Animus Control Panel (ACP) is an in-game tool that allows players to tweak a number of game parameters to create a new and personal game experience. The ACP is deployed to all PC versions of the game on the 19th of April 2018. This allows you to resume your game unaffected by ACP settings later, if you wish.
These are mercenary warriors that are found all around Egypt. They're indicated by a Red Horned Helmet on the map. The Phylakes will appear after you complete this mission Gennadios the Phylakitai. Once they do, you will start finding a single Phylake in nearly every region of Egypt.
You can simply go to any blacksmith on the map and spend drachmae to upgrade your weapon to your current level.
Whether sneaking out on enemies from haystacks, approaching them from behind or air assassinating them, you'll be prompted to carry out a stealth attach by pressing RB/R1. With the hidden blade, Eivor begins their journey to being a true assassin.
You can get it by unlocking the following skills in order from the center of the skill tree: Stealth>Way of the Raven>Melee>Stealth>Range>Melee>Health>Advanced Assassination. It takes eight skill points to unlock this ability if you follow the specified route.
You can't assassinate Zealots.
Valhalla doesn't abandon stealth, but no longer treats it as the favorite child. No such system exists in Valhalla. Zealots are a stand-in for mercenaries this time around, but there are no witnesses, there's no wanted level, and if you complete an early quest a certain way, Zealots will never hunt you.

You can complete a parry by pressing L1/LB/Q on your console or PC, but there is more to it than a simple button tap.
By default, an attack using the hidden blade will only deprive an elite enemy of some health and you will have to finish the fight the hard way. This skill can eliminate this risk. You must start by launching a stealth attack by pressing R1 / RB after getting behind the back or above an elite opponent.
The most impressive part about Odyssey was the the size and scope, but other than that, Origins is better in almost every way by almost every metric. The story is better. The writing is WAY better. The quests, especially the side quests, are more consequential and fleshed out.

To complete the Assassin's Creed Origins story alone, it looks like players will need around 20 hours of game time if they're in a rush.
Assassin's Creed Origins (2017) Assassin's Creed Valhalla (2020) Assassin's Creed (2007) Assassin's Creed II (2009)
The game is gutsy in this way, daring to question some of the customs of the time. And despite its flaws, it's fun. This isn't the smoothest Assassin's Creed ride ever, not with the stealth issues, and some frustrating graphical bugs. But it is a ride worth taking to a time long ago.
Origins had to take a different route because of the way the system binds into the game. All the previous games could have done away with this system and it wouldn't have mattered much, but Origins cannot survive without it. The player can climb almost anything in the game and that too seamlessly.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey is a repetitive mess, filled with more than 60 hours of uninteresting gameplay and laughably confusing storylines. While some may be excited at the prospect of a long, narrative-driven single-player game, Assassin's Creed Odyssey quickly becomes a chore.
