American Bull Terriers are probably the best to go after a wolf since its purely bred to fight. A Pit Bull also has a good chance. Same with a rottie or doberman. Staffordshire Terriers (pitty cousin) or rhodesian ridgebacks (lion hunters) would stand up a good chance too.
Pit bulls are regularly cited as one of the most dangerous dog breeds. Between 2005 and 2016, Pit bull attacks led to 64.8 percent of all dog-related deaths. Over this decade, this type of dog caused 254 deaths. The number of pit bull attacks and fatalities is not because pit bull breeds are inherently violent.
But in the wild, they say, tigers and lions fight quite differently: A group of 2–4 female lions would have a similar advantage over a lone tigress. They conclude that while one on one, a tiger would certainly best a lion, in the wild the lion pride could hold their own against the solitary tiger.

The largest jaguar ever recorded was a male that weighed 149 kilograms, more than 300 pounds. To put this weight into perspective, this animal was about as big as a defensive lineman for the National Football League's Jacksonville Jaguars. Most male jaguars weigh between 50–100 kg (110–220 lbs).
Jaguars are bigger and bulkier than leopards, weighing up to 250 pounds compared with the 175-pound leopard. Jaguars also have huge jaw muscles, teeth, and the strongest bite force of any big cat, says Boone Smith, an independent big cat researcher based in Idaho.
Lions sometimes become the victims of their intended prey. There have been instances in which lions have been killed by giraffe, buffalo, kudu, snakes and even porcupines.
Tigers are typically wary of humans and usually show no preference for human meat. Although humans are relatively easy prey, they are not a desired source of food. Thus, most man-eating tigers are old, infirm, or have missing teeth, and choose human victims out of desperation.
