Yoda, easy. Vader is actually a weaker version of what he use to be. He was more powerful as Anykin and Obi Wan beat him, Yoda is stronger then Obi Wan, so I'd say Yoda beats Vader. He got stronger with the force.
Yoda died of guilt. We need to remember why he was on the remote, swamp covered world of Dagobah. He exiled himself there because he failed to kill the Emperor in Revenge of the Sith. If Yoda had been able to defeat Sheev Palpatine/Darth Sidious, then he could have saved the Republic from Imperial rule.
Darth Vader is a powerful foe against even a demigod like Thanos. However, he cannot defeat Thanos for good reason. Vader could try to hold the blast back with the Force, but the power would be much to great to hold. So, even Thanos NOT snapping him out of existence wins.
Darth Maul is potentially a more dangerous saber combatant, but Vader is much stronger with the Force.

Obi-wan had found the immortality that Vader so desperately sought. In the end, Obi-wan was victorious not only over Vader, but also Sidious, to whom Vader had turned to for the power over death but who could, ultimately, not provide. Obi-wan, however, showed him the way. Yes he could, and he did.

While Vader was certainly powerful with the Force, Kylo Ren is arguably even stronger, being able to freeze people in their tracks without even needing to focus on them. Though Kylo Ren may not be as proficient with a lightsaber as Vader, with enough training, he could overpower his grandfather.
While there's no indication that she will ever lean into the Sith power she may have absorbed, a very compelling case can be made for the idea that Rey is the most powerful Force-wielder of all time. With her yellow saber, she's now both a Guardian (a Jedi warrior) and a Consular (a Jedi scholar).
Vader DID know the Skywalker he was pursuing was Anakin Skywalker's son and he was trying to keep it hidden to get to Luke before the Emperor found out. This gives his monologue to Luke at the end of Empire a little more weight because it shows he had been planning this coup for some time.
While both characters are powerful in the Force, Kylo Ren is almost certainly more powerful than Rey, at least throughout The Force Awakens. But while Kylo Ren was trained in the Force, he has a great deal of trouble controlling his emotions.
Kylo Ren (aka Ben) is stronger than Luke at least in terms of raw power - Luke himself said as much. There's little reason to think that Leia is stronger than Luke even if we don't know her exact power levels. According to him, as Kylo Ren got stronger so will his counterpart of the Light.
Obi wan was no match for Palpatine so he got Vader. Killing Vader is hard for Obi-wan, but Yoda reminds him that the boy he trained is gone. Yoda taking both Sith would take longer , and time was of the essence. They had no reservations about killing Vader.
28 Stronger: Obi-Wan Kenobi
Despite his loss (which was really a win), Obi-Wan Kenobi defeated Anakin as Vader, before he became mostly machine in Revenge of the Sith. Kenobi also defeated General Grievous and Darth Maul (twice) in single combat."Kylo Ren is not a Sith," confirms JJ Abrams in the new issue of Empire. "He works under Supreme Leader Snoke, who is a powerful figure on the Dark Side of the Force.” His ability to use the Force grants him many impressive combat skills, but Kylo Ren is no Jedi, nor is he a Sith.
Originally no, he did not fear it. At that time he wanted to save his wife and was too blinded to see how bad the Dark side was. As time passed, he realized the power of the Dark side and began to fear of the lengths the Emperor was willing to go to to keep that power and get what he wanted.
In the Legends continuity, he doesn't because he can't. According to the Revenge of the Sith Visual Dictionary, under Darth Vader: As a result of having artificial arms, Darth Vader will never be able to conjure Sith lightning-nor be invulnerable to it. It goes on to name Lightning as an example of a "Body" ability.
Yes he knew. In fact, if you read Luceno's Darth Plagueis (a great read for insight into the background of Sheev Palpatine), Dooku probably knew that Palpatine was Sidious even back when he was still technically a Jedi.
Sidious was powerful for two reasons- one, he was naturally gifted, which is why Plagueis chose him in the first place. And two, the Sith Rule of Two minimized the number of people accessing the Dark Side and which allowed it to be concentrated in the hands of the Master and gradually parsed out to the apprentice.

- 7 - Ulic Qel-Droma. Ulic Qel-Droma.
- 6 - Marka Ragnos.
- 5 - Revan. Revan.
- 4 - Darth Plagueis. Perhaps you will be disappointed by this choice, but I have to make it.

Darth maul was highly skilled martial artist and swordsmen. He had good skills in telekinesis and physical augmention ability also. Maul was warrior to the core he preferred to kill his targets in close guarters martial arts combat. His most impressive kill was gui gon jinn one of the most skilled jedi at the time.
So “Darth Vader” meant “Dark lord of the Sith, who invades.” He carried out Sidious's dirty work for him, while Emperor Sidious sat back and planned carefully. When Anakin Skywalker converted to the Dark Side of The Force, Darth Sidious bestowed on him the name "Darth Vader".
The Sith in canon are not necessarily more powerful than the Jedi, although Sidious is extremely powerful he does not outrank Anakin in connection to the Force. In the movies though, the Sith have a distinct advantage over the Jedi, which is that they have been in hiding and changing for over a thousand years.
2 Stronger: Luke Skywalker
Having faced his father once before, Luke was familiar with his tactics and used the force to gain an upper-hand. In Star Wars Canon, only Luke Skywalker can be acknowledged as the one who truly defeated Darth Vader. It may be more accurate to describe Darth Vader as a Dark Jedi, as he was a jedi first, and did not begin as a Sith. However, he was taken as an apprentice by Palpatine/Sidious, and was given the title "Darth", so yes, he is a Sith Lord.
A Sith or dark side user fights without that burden. The dark side give instant power and makes you powerful instantly. But if you are patient and study the light side long enough then you will be more powerful than dark side users. Such intense emotions make you somewhat stronger than a calm Jedi.
Because he slowly turned to the Light Side. Vader's internal conflict against Anakin had already started before the duel. Do you really think that Vader suddenly turned into Anakin after once he saw his son being electrocuted? The Anakin in him never wanted to destroy Luke in the first place.
As Anakin, can take beatings from the likes of Durge, who can lift 100 tons, and match General Grievous. Was still alive after a beatdown from Luke Skywalker. Took a brutal beating from Galen Marek that deactivated his suit and survived. Killed a clone of Darth Maul by stabbing himself through the chest.
Vader is also the number one Sith duelist. The other one who could beat Sidious in the new Canon is possibly Luke Skywalker. As revealed in the “Rise of Kylo Ren” comics and in “The Rise of Skywalker” film, Snoke is actually a puppet that Palpatine controls using his own power.
