GSAT-30 is a telecommunications satellite developed by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
GSAT-4 → GSAT-3, also known as EDUSAT, was a communications satellite which was launched on 20 September 2004 by the Indian Space Research Organisation. EDUSAT is the first Indian satellite built exclusively to serve the educational sector.
India's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle PSLV-C51 successfully launched Amazonia-1 along with 18 co-passenger satellites today (February 28, 2021) from Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR, Sriharikota. PSLV-C51 lifted off from the First Launch Pad of SDSC SHAR at 10:24 hours (IST) as planned.
Ariane Passenger PayLoad Experiment, APPLE was an experimental communication satellite successfully launched by Ariane-1, from Kourou, French Guiana on June 19, 1981, exactly 35 years back, marking an important milestone in India's space programme.

The Ariane Passenger Payload Experiment (APPLE) was ISRO's first indigenous, experimental communication satellite. It was launched into GTO (Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit) by the third development flight of ESA'a Ariane vehicle from Kourou on June 19, 1981.
Right now, there are nearly 6,000 satellites circling our tiny planet. About 60% of those are defunct satellites—space junk—and roughly 40% are operational. As highlighted in the chart above, The Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS), determined that 2,666 operational satellites circled the globe in April of 2020.
The third satellite in the series, launched in 2013, cost some $900 million while the fourth satellite, featuring a variety of modifications, had a price tag of $1.8 billion, officials said before launch in 2018. The final two satellites, AEHF-5 and 6, cost a combined $2.15 billion.
No, Pakistan don't have any functional satellite in space today. However they have developed two experimental satellites so far, namely BADR-1 and BADR-2. BADR-1 was launched on 16 July, 1990 from a Chinese launcher and lost contact after one month of the launch. It was decayed in the same year on 8th December.

India had successfully test-fired an anti-satellite missile on 27 March, knocking off one of its own satellites 300 km in space, thereby joining a small group of countries — the US, Russia and China — to possess such a capability.
Transponders available on the INSAT series satellites were extensively used by the defence forces.
India has launched 342 satellites for 36 different countries as of 28 February 2021. As of 2019, the Indian Space Research Organisation, India's government space agency, is the only launch-capable agency in India, and launches all research and commercial projects.
ISRO has put into operation two major satellite systems: the Indian National Satellites (INSAT) for communication services, and the Indian Remote Sensing Programme (IRS) satellites for management of natural resources.
Currently there are over 2,787 active artificial satellites orbiting the Earth.
