AirAsia is set to resume its scheduled domestic flights commencing with Malaysia on 29 April 2020, followed by Thailand (1 May 2020), the Philippines (1 June 2020), India (4 May 2020) and Indonesia (7 May 2020), subject to approval from the authorities.

AirAsia said earlier Monday that its Japanese arm will cease flying immediately as the coronavirus outbreak continues to roil the airline industry. You cannot cancel a airasia flight for a refund. If you cancel the flight, you can claim back the airport tax, but not the ticket. You can however change the date of the flight for a processing fee, plus the difference in the fares between your booked flight and the one you want to change to.
