Open HomeGroup by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, typing homegroup in the search box, and then clicking HomeGroup. Clear the check box for each library you don't want shared, and then click Save changes.

If you are a Windows user, you may have seen the 'Network Credentials' screen, a security screen that requests a username and password. The 'Enter Network Credentials' screen appears because you cannot access shared resources on the network without entering a username and password.
Here's how to do it:
- Press Winkey + R to open Run.
- Type in 'lusrmgr.
- Once the Local Users and Groups window pops up, click on the Users folder.
- In the middle pane, you'll see all the accounts on your system.
- Right click on 'HomeGroupUser$' and click Properties.
If you want to change the Windows-10 Homegroup Password please open HomeGroup in Windows 10 Control Panel, or start the Windows 10 Run Command [Windows-Logo]+[R] and enter the command: control.exe /name Microsoft. HomeGroup and click the text Change Password.
To fix this issue, simply do the following:

All local user account passwords are stored inside windows. They are located inside C:windowssystem32configSAM If the computer is used to log into a domain then that username/password are also stored so it's possible to log into the computer when not connected to the domain.
Windows 10 and Windows 8.x

From Windows 7 to Windows 10:

In Windows 7 and Windows 10, you have to right-click on Computer on the desktop, go to Properties, which will open the System Control Panel dialog.
