Camazotz is the planet that IT is located on. The capital city of Camazotz is CENTRAL Central Intelligence. Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin traveled to Camazotz to save Charles Wallace and Meg's father. While they were there, IT took control of Charles Wallace's brain.
They tell Meg that her father is still alive and that his belief in tessering is real. The Misses declare that it is time to find Alex, and they transport the children across the universe. Everyone ends up on another planet called Uriel, which is beautiful and vibrant.
To try and fight it off, Meg yells the opening lines of the Declaration of Independence. But when she says "that all men are created equal", IT, using Charles as mouthpiece, tells her that on Camazotz everyone is equal, everyone is alike.
At the end of the book, love wins out over soullessness and hate; Meg matures and shows her competency; the Murry family is reunited; and Mrs. Whatsit, Who, and Which, their task completed, disappear.
