INSANITY MAX:30 will be the hardest 30 minutes of the day and you need to be ready to MAX OUT. It's not about “getting through” all 30 minutes, it's about going as hard as possible, for as long as possible, until becoming “MAXED OUT” (i.e. until taking the first rest and/or breaking proper form).
Both Focus T25 vs Insanity Max 30 will get your heart rate up and covered in sweat. The main difference you'll notice in the workouts themselves is that Insanity Max 30 pushes you harder (both in the workouts and through Shaun T's style). In T25, Shaun T wants you to focus on good form (and not just go 100 m.p.h.).
Anyone can do Insanity Max 30!Whether you are a beginner or an advanced exercise maniac, you can do this workout. The moves are not hard and can be picked up easily. And if you are more advanced, Shaun T helps you focus on more endurance and pushes you to the max!
Max:30 is an intense, HIIT level, plyometric and bodyweight training workout program. The base program comes with 12 workouts. There are 2 bonus abdominal workouts you can purchase, but I did not. I usually do buy the bonus workouts, but I own plenty of core workouts already–I don't need two more.
Time. The first and most obvious distinction between FOCUS T25 and INSANITY is the duration of the workouts. With INSANITY, you can expect to sweat between 40 and 60 minutes most days of the week, and longer on days that include an additional core workout. With FOCUS T25, you'll be done in 25 minutes every time.
Although Insanity and max interval training will burn more fat than HIIT workouts on average, the level of difficulty may exclude individuals from earning optimal results. Regardless, both workouts will push you to your limits and burn fat much faster than steady state cardio ever could.
INSANITY: The Asylum or P90X/X2 are natural extensions but you'll be fit enough after MAX: 30 to tackle many different fitness options. We recommend that you take a break consisting of maintenance work before moving into your next hard program. What is maintenance work?
The Insanity workout is an advanced exercise program. It involves bodyweight exercises and high-intensity interval training. Insanity workouts are performed 20 to 60 minutes at a time, 6 days a week for 60 days. Insanity workouts are produced by Beachbody and guided by fitness trainer Shaun T.
Calories burned in 30 minutes was 451 with average heart rate 167 beats per minute with 21 minutes flat in zone 5 max at 90-100% target heart rate max.
This is not a muscle building workout, but rather a fat burning one. Insanity workouts combine cardio and resistance training which is a huge calorie and fat burner—helping one achieve leaner, stronger and toner muscles, thereby giving you that ripped look.
Improved cardiovascular endurance. Better athletic performance. Lean muscle gains everywhere even those areas you didn't know you were working. Increased strength.
It's Not Just CardioLike everyone else in the world I've seen the Insanity Max:30 infomercial about 100 times. We've all seen the people drenched in sweat. I always assumed the program was just a bunch of cardio routines. But without any equipment you'll get total body sculpting during the course of the series.
I love this part. Stretching after a short, intense warm-up is the best. You only get a few seconds to stretch and Shaun T doesn't tell you what to do but don't just stand there.
The Insanity workout are tough, but it will still take some until you see any results at all. Typically you can use the following guidelines below: It takes 4 weeks for YOU to see your body changing. It takes 8 weeks for friends and family to notice changes.

Insanity is not really a program for building muscle, but it will burn calories and result in losing weight and becoming slimmer overall. And that is what will give you that “ripped” look. However, if you are a skinny guy looking to gain size, you will be better off going with Body Beast.
