Any vehicle or boat can be towed behind an RV so long as it doesn't exceed the weight capacity of the towing method you're using. Pickup trucks, SUVs, Jeeps, and other vehicles on and off the road can be towed behind about any RV bigger than a Class C motorhome.
With automatic transmissions and pump-dependent manuals, the output shaft isn't being lubricated unless the vehicle's engine is running, and a car can suffer severe transmission damage if it is towed with the driven wheels rolling along the highway, turning the driveshaft or, in the case of front-wheel-drive cars, the
The general consensus on towing is that you can tow any front wheel drive manual transmission vehicle as far as you want and as long as you want. Most 4WD vehicles with a manual transmission, manual transfer case and manual lock out hubs can be towed on all four wheels safely with no problems.
It's ultra important to note – flat towing is not officially supported by MINI – doing so will void the transmission warranty. However the manual transmission version has been flat towed by many before us without problems requiring no modifications other than a base plate.
Here are some of the most popular flat tow vehicles:

If you tow a vehicle with an automatic transmission while all the wheels are on the ground, it could result in a lot of damage. Conversely, automatic transmissions do not disengage when the vehicle is in “neutral” and towing could force the transmission to move in the wrong direction.
Your CR-V can be towed behind a motorhome at legal highway speeds up to 65 mph (100 km/h). Do not exceed 65 mph (100 km/h). Otherwise, severe transmission damage will occur. To avoid damage to the 4WD system, it must be towed with all four wheels on the ground (flat towing).

Flat towing in neutral spins various components in the output section of the transmission, many that require lubrication. Since the internal pump isn't running, and length or distance of towing in this condition can cause permanent damage.
That car was recently totaled in an accident so we wanted to buy a 2018 CRV. That's when we found out, as was pointed out in earlier posts, Honda had changed the transmissions and no Hondas from 2015 on can be towed flat. As I write this, we are towing our 2014 new-to-us CRV across the country.
The 2019 edge can be flat towed, the 18' can unless it has the 2.0L ecoboost and also has an automatic transmission.
If this is not the case then a Drop Receiver is installed to bring the frame to the correct position.
