9v9 creates the perfect learning environment for U11s and U12s to develop their skills, build relationships and have fun! The standard size for 9v9 football goals is 16 x 7ft (4.88 x 2.13m).
The goal measures 6.5m in width and 2.5m in height and the posts should go to a height of at least 7m to form an H.
The size of a 9-a-side football pitch is 80 yards (73.1m) long by 50 yards (45.72m) wide. These measurements are recommended by The FA and are used by U-11 and U-12 teams. For this pitch size, the centre circle must have a radius of 7 yards (6.4m) with the centre mark in the middle of the field.
The ball should be Size 3 for U9 and size 4 for U10. It should be made of leather or other suitable material.
11-A-Side Football Goals
The standard size for an 11-a-side goal is 24 x 8ft (7.32 x 2.44m) for senior and 21 x 7ft (6.40 x 2.13m) for youth players. Goalpost safety is key. All Mark Harrod 11-a-side goals conform to BSEN748 or BS8462:2012 when anchored correctly.The standard size for a 5-a-side goal is 12 x 4ft (3.66 x 1.20m) for juniors or 16 x 4 ft (4.88 x 1.20m) for senior players.
Last, but not least, that wooden thing at each end of the pitch they call the goal. Think you know how big it is? It's eight feet high (2.44m) and eight yards wide (7.32m).
No, it is highly unlikely that any prominent football teams use a pitch that is close to square in shape. On page 7 of the 2015/16 FIFA Laws of the Game it states: The length of the touch line must be greater than the length of the goal line.

A player aged 15 may play 2 years up (ie at U18 level).
Under 9 – the player must be under the age of 9 as at midnight on 31st August in the playing season. Under 11 – the player must have attained the age of 10 but must be under the age of 11 by midnight 31st August in the playing season if the format of football is 11v11.
The size of a football is roughly 22 cm (8.66 inches) in diameter for a regulation size 5 ball. Rules state that a size 5 ball must be 68 to 70 cm (27 to 28 in) in circumference. Averaging that to 69 cm (27 in) and then dividing by π gives about 22 cm (8.7 in) for a diameter.
