In March 2016, AMC announced that Better Call Saul was renewed for a 10-episode third season which premiered April 10, 2017. In January 2020, AMC renewed the series for a sixth season that will air in 2021. Gould confirmed it will be the show's final season, and will consist of 13 episodes rather than the usual 10.

Saul decides to go into hiding in episode Granite State, right after Heisenberg's identity is revealed in the previous episode and Walt goes on the run. If they are, it would allow them to aquire evidence against Saul that would put him in jail for a long time, regardless how good lawyer he is.

Another season, another familiar question: Will Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) or Walter White finally appear in the series? Well, no. Peter Gould did reveal that another partnership from the original series will be showing up in Better Call Saul.In the season premiere of Better Call Saul, there were flashbacks and flash-forwards following the finale of Breaking Bad. The opening scene showed Saul leaving Albuquerque and reloading to Omaha, Nebraska under the alias Gene Taković, keeping a low profile as a manager of a Cinnabon store, reflecting on his past life.
Saul went into hiding because he was deeply involved in a criminal conspiracy that was rapidly unraveling. If nothing else, he was being proactive.
Nacho did not appear in Breaking Bad, but is named in the second-season episode "Better Call Saul", the same episode that introduced Saul Goodman.

Saul was born in Cicero, Illinois on November 12, 1960 as James Morgan "Jimmy" McGill. His older brother Chuck became a successful lawyer as one of the partners at an Albuquerque law firm, Hamlin, Hamlin & McGill.
After their employee Badger is arrested in an Albuquerque Police sting operation, meth cooks Walter White and Jesse Pinkman hire Saul as their lawyer and consigliere. Saul has already offered to be Badger's legal counsel and has learned that the DEA hopes Badger will lead them to "Heisenberg".
Better Call Saul is an American television crime drama series created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould. It is a prequel and spin-off of Gilligan's prior series Breaking Bad.
Proving his loyalty by getting Jimmy “In-'N-Out” Kilkelly to take the fall for Badger, Saul became Walt's full-time legal counsel, money launderer and adviser. All three of them get, quickly got caught up in the city's criminal underworld and Saul went on to become Walter White's and Jesse Pinkman's fixer.
You must recall when Saul went and got himself a new identity when the DEA knew who Heisenberg was and so that meant Saul will be in trouble too, so, Yeah, the black and white scenes shows what happened to Saul after he got his new identity.

Not this season, but maybe next year, according to Gould and fellow executive producer Vince Gilligan. "It's our annual TCA announcement that Walt and Jesse will not be in Season 5. Gilligan made his feelings known about Walt and Jesse: "I would love to see them on 'Better Call Saul' before it ends.
DEA agent Hank Schrader of Breaking Bad fame will be popping up on the next episode of Better Call Saul, which airs on Monday on AMC. The episode will see actor Dean Norris return to his famous role as Hank, alongside his partner Gomez, played by Steven Michael Quezada.

Mad Men is my absolute favorite show of all time. It is definitely just as good as Breaking Bad, and in my opinion it's even better. It aired on AMC (same network as Breaking Bad) and was the network's first original series. Without Mad Men, Breaking Bad never would have existed.
