Unisa is an Open Distance e-Learning (ODeL) university. In distance learning, YOU are responsible for your studies. You don't attend daily classes / lectures. You learn from a distance and you connect to the university mostly via the internet (eg a laptop, tablet, smartphone).
The 2019 Graduate Outcomes Survey found that 73.5 per cent of UniSA undergraduates were in full-time employment four months after completing their degree; with 88.3 per cent of UniSA graduates employed in some form in the same timeframe. The median starting salary for UniSA graduates in 2019 was $62,600.

Can I register with Unisa and another university simultaneously? You can only be registered at one South African university for a formal qualification. If you want to study simultaneously, you will have to register for a formal degree at one university and for non-degree purposes (NDP) at the other university.
