I think at $300
SDCC is a bargain and well
worth it. Thank you, this is a good perspective. But I am going to disagree on the $70/day hotel. During Con, even the very far out Motel 6's are over $100.
Is SDCC worth it?

What are the dates for Comic Con 2020?
The best days are typically Friday and Saturday, when most of the big panels happen in Hall H, and there are a ton of other activities going on around the rest of the Con. If you had to pick one day between Friday and Saturday, pick Saturday, but realize that you're going to be missing something good on Friday.
Can I wear an anime cosplay at Comic-Con? Of course, wear whatever you want and have fun!!! I've seen many anime cosplays at comic cons. These events have shifted from comic books to pop culture fandoms, which include a little bit of everything, including anime.
Yes and no. You should be prepared and cosplay on a day where you don't have events planned. You'll get stopped for photos, costumes can be uncomfortable, etc. It's better to cosplay on a day where you aren't rushing to get into panels.
