Visit the homepage of Renaissance Learning, the creator of AR quizzes, and click “Store†from the menu bar. Select “Log-In†from the top right of the screen. Log in to an account or create a new one, then return to the store. Select “Quiz Search†from the blue box.
While anyone can download the app, each device needs to be configured to work with a school's AR Renaissance Place Real Time software in order to take quizzes. The Accelerated Reader Student App is now available as a free download from the Apple App Store(SM).

The monitor password is meant to be used by the person who is supervising students as they take the test. By entering the monitor password, the test monitor confirms that the students should be allowed to test and that the student has not accidentally logged in as another student.
On the Login page, type your user name and password and click Log In or press Enter. If the My Settings page opens, asking you to change your password, enter a new password in the two fields and click Save. (Passwords must be at least 3 characters long and contain at least one number.)

To unlock student accounts, sign on to your teacher account and click on the “Personnel, Students, and Parents†link under the “Renaissance Place†section. Click on “Clear Locked Studentsâ€. Next, click on the “Clear All Student Locks†button to clear all “locked†student accounts at once.
Who owns Renaissance Learning?
A: Star Assessments are short tests that provide teachers with learning data. Star tests are computer adaptive, which means they adjust to each answer your child provides. Your child may take a Star test for early literacy, math, reading, or other subjects of their teacher's choice.
There are two ways to check your child's AR account. You can check through the parent portal or the student portal. To check your child's AR account via the parent portal, Renaissance Home Connect use this link. You must have your student's AR username and password.
Select to create a new AR account for the profile. This button is not displayed when the AR Accounts screen is accessed from AR > Account Maintenance > Options > Account Setup > Addresses > AR Accounts Lamp. Edit. Highlight an entry and select this button to view or modify information for an existing AR Account.
The STAR Reading AssessmentReading domains include analyzing literary text, word skills and knowledge, analyzing argument and evaluating text, comprehension strategies and constructing meaning, and understanding author's craft.
Although you cannot permanently delete a STAR Reading test from a student's test record, you can deactivate a test. Deactivating a test removes the test-taking data and the test results from any reports or calculations for that student. If necessary, a deactivated test can be reactivated again at a later time.
Cost The school version of Accelerated Reader software can be ordered for $4 a student per year, with a one-time school fee of $1,599.
