Return money
- Open the Google Pay app .
- On the transaction you want to return, tap Details.
- Tap Decline. If it says "Completed," you can't return the money. You can try to send the same amount back to the sender instead.
- Tap Decline again.
If you're having a problem with a different payment method, go to Google Payments to fix the issue. Sign in to https://pay.google.com with your Google Account. Look for any notifications or requests for information & provide anything that's asked for. Check that your address is up to date.
Report a problem
- Do a search on Google.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the results page.
- Tap Feedback.
- Enter a description of the issue you're seeing.
- If you want, you can include a screenshot of the page you're looking at.
- Tap Send .
Google Pay has issued an advisory elaborating ways in which users can avoid being subject to frauds on its platform. The consultive has come in the backdrop of increased cases of transaction-related frauds, where users' money have been swindled from their bank accounts using United Payments Interface (UPI).

- On your computer, go to Gmail.
- In the top left, click Compose .

How to remove a Google account from an Android phone

Send & receive money using a phone number
- Go to pay.google.com.

Change or remove a bank account
- Open Google Pay .
- In the top left, tap your photo > Bank account.
- Tap on the account that you want to delete.
- Tap More. Remove account.
That's because the $1 charge is actually a temporary preauthorization from your credit card company, basically giving the merchant the green light to charge your card for the full amount when your final purchase is made. By preauthorizing your card $1, they don't have to place a larger hold against your account.
