Acrylic sheets are thermoplastics, often purchased in sheets as a lightweight or shatter-resistant alternative to glass. Acrylic is known by many names, with generic names including acrylic, acrylic glass, and plexiglass. Brand names include Plexiglas, Evonik Cryo Acrylite, Lucite, Plaskolite, Optix, Perspex, and more.
Step 2: Print and prep your photos. You will need eight 3"x3" pictures and two 3"x6" pictures for this project. Print (or copy) them onto regular printer paper, NOT on photo paper. (Photo paper is too thick to bend easily and won't work for this project.)
Apply Mod Podge, Gel Medium or any other Photo Transfer Medium directly to your print. Apply it to the side with the image – apply it to the front! Be sure to cover your print evenly and all the way to the edges. Once it's covered with transfer medium place the image face down on the wood block.
- Choose a Design. First, select one of the many designs. With hundreds of designs there's always something for you!
- Add Photos. Next, add your photos and then customize by dragging items around.
- Save and Share. Once your collage is done, it can be downloaded and shared with the world!

Simply take a small bead of putty and warm it in your fingers until it is soft and pliable, stick it to your poster, then onto your clean wall. For an average size poster, one dot in each corner plus a few more in the middle should be fine. For larger posters, put extra dots of putty along the edges.
Canvas Prints are done on high quality artist canvas and mounted onto wooden frames.
Block mounting is the process of mounting or sticking any print or poster to a solid backing board which allows you to hang your artwork with a frame-free finish. This is an affordable alternative to framing your picture.
Using a conventional picture frame and glass, you can simply trim the foam board to size and insert it into the frame as usual, but eliminating the usual layers of cardboard backing provided to snug the picture firmly against the glass. The foam board will do the job.
Showcase your favorite family photos and best memories in a custom photo cube. Unlike a traditional picture frame, photo cubes showcase different images on each panel to make a one-of-a-kind piece of home decor. Flip the picture cube around so you can easily display any photo you want whenever you want.
The most common way to use a light cube is to put a light on either side of the cube facing just a bit back to fill in the front of the subject. This setup draws attention to your object and provides even lighting. It's nice for photographing three dimensional objects, so it's often used for product photos.
