The longer Moto Mods remain alive, the further Motorola falls behind. To get anywhere against the competition, Lenovo and Motorola have to give up on this long-dead dream that module-based accessories are the future. The end is not near for Motorola.
As of writing, there are five phones compatible with Moto Mods:

Motorola's latest mobile launch is the Moto G8 Power Lite. The smartphone was launched in 3rd April 2020. The phone comes with a 6.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1600 pixels at a PPI of 269 pixels per inch.

The Mod amplifies the phone's sound, looking to replace the need for a portable speaker. Lack of innovation by Motorola
This has to be the biggest reason why the company lost its business. When competitors like Nokia, Samsung came out with pretty innovative designs Motorola did not bring about some out of the box products.Both the Moto Z and Moto Z Force are built with a faster Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, a 5.5-in. Quad HD AMOLED display, up to 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM. Interestingly, while the Moto G line comes unlocked, the Moto Z and Moto Z Force will only be available (for now) at Verizon Wireless.

Unfortunately, your Motorola Moto Z Play doesn't have Qi Wireless Charging integrated. However, you can use a Wireless Charging Adapter for your device in order to make it Qi compatible or view the list of all Qi enabled Phones.

The Moto Z4 and Z3 both sport glass bodies and screens, while the Moto Z2 Force stands out, and not in a good way. It sports an aluminum body that'll be less prone to cracks, but the shatterproof plastic screen picks up a lot of scratches.
The 6.4-inch 2340 x 1080 pixel OLED display (up from 6.0 inches in the Z3) on the Moto Z4 is one of its strong points. After conducting the test on Motorola Moto Z4, we can say that the device is waterproof and splashproof. There is no problem while using the device after the test. However, moto mods doesn't work quite well when the device is immersed in water.
The BMW Z3 and Z4 are genuine roadsters, not simply convertibles. The difference being that roadsters are strictly two-seaters and the seats are set well back, almost to the rear axle. In particular, their handling was softer than usual for a BMW, though far from soft in absolute terms.

Best answer: The Moto Z4 is an affordable way to gain access to Verizon's 5G network, but if you already have an older Moto Z device, you might be able to just buy the 5G Moto Mod instead. If you're a new Verizon customer, however, the Z4 is available at a fantastic price.
