There is only one train that takes you to Araku from Visakhapatnam at a proper time (Train no. 58501).
- Train basically stops at Borra Caves.
- Visit Borra first.
- Then book a cab to ARAKU.
- Visit near by places like Chaparai Waterfall, Coffee museum, etc.
If It's a one day trip - go to Araku first and while returning you can Visit Borra cave. It's around 1-1.5 hour journey between Borra and Araku. You can get the AP tourism bus from Araku or Cab also. If you are traveling with Kid then avoid train and it's congested and local people travel daily .

It takes 1:30 hrs to reach S.Vishakapatnam is absolutely safe, as the statics also show that it is the safest city for women in the whole country.
