The easiest way to identify whether steel pipe you purchased is seamless or ERW has simply checked the stencil on the surface of the pipe. 1) Type S means seamless. 2) Type F is furnace but welded, 3) Type E is Electrical resist welded.
Performance and Usage. Seamless steel pipe has better pressure capacity, strength is higher than ERW welded steel pipe.
