Is AP Lang worth taking? ?? The short answer: absolutely! Even Trevor Packer, the Vice President of Advanced Placement, said on Twitter in 2018 that the skills and knowledge tested on the AP Lang exam have "a very strong relationship to overall college success."
Basically, nothing happens if you fail an AP exam. Whether you get a passing or failing AP exam grade, you can still go to college. Just because failing your AP exam will still get you to college doesn't mean that you should not do your best to get a passing score. Taking an AP course in high school consumes time.
AP Lang is a difficult course, regardless of how good you are at English. Lots of writing (not too bad; you shouldn't be in an AP humanity sort of class if you're afraid of writing). I find that it just is a complex subject, personally. Bottom line, it's the study of rhetoric.
It is definitely a challenging class. I took it last year, and it was probably the hardest class I took, but it prepared me extremely well—perhaps overprepared me—for college level English.
yea if you took lang you should. Dont want to give the impression that you are backing down from a challenge. AP Lit is all about analyzing literature and explaining yourself through essays.
Advanced Placement English Language and Composition (commonly abbreviated to AP Lang, AP Comp, or APLAC) is a course and examination offered by the College Board as part of the Advanced Placement Program. When AP exams were first implemented, English Language and English Literature were initially combined.
An Ivy League hopeful might take 3 to 5 AP classes, while if you're aiming for less-selective schools, 2 to 4 would be enough. Senior Year: Take more APs in core subjects and additional subjects, again being careful not to overburden your schedule and to leave time for college applications.

AP mode is more used to transfer wired connection into wireless. It works like a switch. Usually, it is behind a router. When Internet access from DSL or cable modem is available for one user but more users need to share the Internet, please use the Router Mode.
On the net, no one says access point will decrease the bandwidth but people say a repeater will decrease the bandwidth.
A range extender repeats the wireless signal from your router to expand its reach by creating a second network, while an access point relies on a hardwired connection to your network, rather than simply repeating the existing network.
Access point (AP) mode enables your router to function as a gateway for wireless devices to connect to. In AP mode, your NETGEAR router extends your existing WiFi instead of creating a new WiFi network. For more information, see Disabled Features on the Router when set to AP Mode.
1. What is the access point (AP) in a wireless LAN? Explanation: Access point in a wireless network is any device that will allow the wireless devices to a wired network. A router is the best example of an Access Point.
9 things to check after installing wireless access points
- Verify that individual APs are operational.
- Check the VLANs of each SSID.
- Double-check the SSIDs.
- Verify wireless coverage.
- Double-check channel assignments.
- Consider the physical security of APs and the network.
- Run speed tests to evaluate performance.
- Note exact AP locations.
How to Install Your Wireless Access Point
- 1Connect the Ethernet port of your cable modem or router to your wireless access point's Internet (or WAN) port using an Ethernet network cable.
- 2Connect your wireless access point to your computer using an Ethernet network cable.
- 3Turn on your DSL or cable modem and wait about two minutes.
Simply connect the access point to one of the ports of your existing wired/wireless router then configure the access point's wireless settings.
- Open the access point's web-based setup page by entering the default IP Address “192.168.
- On the web-based setup page, click on Wireless.
- Enter the Network Name (SSID).
A wireless access point (often referred to as a WAP) is a piece of equipment that enables you to connect devices which have wi-fi access to your wired network. Most homes only require a wireless router, which will usually have a wireless access point built into it, to provide wi-fi throughout an average-sized house.
But if you are interested in the humanities, it would make sense to take both. Personally, I took both AP English classes: AP Language in 10th grade, and AP Literature in 11th grade.
Originally Answered: Is it bad to not take any AP classes in junior year of high school? It's not bad but it's also not great. You have to continuously remember that on a much larger scale; you're competing with millions of other people around your age that may want to go to the same schools as you in the near future.
If you're looking for a specific number of APs that you should take, it will depend on your school's offerings, but a safe number for admission at Ivy League schools is usually between 7 and 12 AP classes throughout high school.

Students are given 2 hours and 15 minutes to complete the essays. (This includes an extra 15 minutes exclusively for reading the passages for the synthesis essay.) The suggested time for writing each essay is 40 minutes. You must complete all three essays within the 2-hour writing time limit.
There is a reason that there is no AP anatomy or physiology course; hardly anyone takes those classes in college except in nursing school. The regular high school level classes in those subjects will not place you out of anything in college, though they might prepare you for the nursing college classes.
AP Biology is one of the more difficult APs based on its challenging curriculum, the low rate of students who earn 5s on the exam, and the consensus from students on the demanding nature of the class. It's a challenging class for most students, but it should be manageable if you're aware of what you're facing.
It might comfort you to know that the course material for AP Environmental Science is not considered to be especially difficult. In fact, AP Environmental Science has gained something of a reputation as being one of the easier AP courses.
