Santorini is the most magical incredible island in Greece. If you can only visit one island then it should be Santorini. Crete is wonderful and beautiful too – it's also much bigger and requires one to two weeks (or more) to tour the island properly. Santorini has better and more unique luxury hotels.
Luckily, there are more than enough places in Crete where you can do exactly that. From cities like Chania with its colorful old town to charming coastal towns and villages like Agia Galini and Agios Nikolaos, Crete proves it's worth visiting even if you're not looking for a typical sunny vacation.

Corfu is much greener and subsequently wetter! Crete is huge and varies dramatically from region to region. Try them both and make your own mind up. With two weeks at your disposal I would opt for Crete as this would enable you to get a good feel for the island, especially if you rented a car.
Crete is the largest Greek island, and unless you are planning a “road trip”, it will be very hard for you to see all the attractions during one holiday. Regardless of where you decide to spend your vacation in Crete, you won't get bored.
The best place to stay in Crete is Chania area or western Crete that actually has the best beaches of the island and some of the best hotels along with the beautiful Chania town with its elegant restaurants, the picturesque Old Town of Chania, and the incredible Samaria Gorge (which you should hike).
