The heat is due to the discrete amplifier transistors for each channel. if you don't have adequate space in what ever you have the amp installed into you might consider a small muffin fan mounted to the AV cabinet to exhaust the hot air or just run a cage fan in front of the unit.

"Although there's no definitive specification, we recommend a minimum of 5 inches of ventilation space on top and 2 inches on either side of the receiver/amplifier to greatly reduce the risk of the amplifier overheating and tripping the Protection Circuit when playing at moderate to high volume output levels.
A cooling fan works on the principle of forced convection, by enhancing natural convection—heat rising and escaping through vents at the top of the cabinet—with fans or blowers. As outside air is pushed through the system, it carries the heat generated inside the enclosure through an exhaust vent.
The most commonly recommended solution is to use a standard flow filter fan unit to suck cool air into the enclosure from the bottom of the panel, as pictured, combined with an exhaust outlet at the top mounted on the opposite wall.
In an ideal set up, there should be a fan located near the top of the cabinet configured to exhaust out air, and a fan located near the bottom to push in air. Electronics such as receivers and computers within a cabinet will cause air to heat up.

Ideally, your extractor fan system should replace the air in your grow room every minute, or at least every three to five minutes.
The fan uses its stator blade and dual hydrodynamic wind circles which gives it a high static pressure rating, enabling it to deliver airflow even in applications where air movement is being restricted. The way the blades were designed allows the fan to pull in air out through the other side of the opening.
The ideal inline exhaust fan to get for a 5×5 grow tent is 6 inches in size and has around 400 CFM.

As always, both exhaust and oscillating fans should be running during the light hours. In case you've 2-3 oscillating fans, 1 intake fan and 1 exhaust fan, keep the oscillating fans on for the entire dark period. And turn the other fans off after 1 hour after the light goes off.
Having ventilation for your grow tent is critical. Without fresh air coming in and stale air going out, plants can become anemic and probably wither and die. We all need fresh air and a sealed environment like a grow tent does not have any ventilation by design.
I would go with an 8 inch fan and filter for extraction. A 6 inch would probably meet your specification. But a carbon filter reduces the efficiency of the fan.
