When the screen background turns gray, you're in the “edit” menu. At the bottom, there's a trash can—just move the app to that can, then press the select button. This will transfer you in to the “Uninstall app” menu. Select “OK” to completely remove the app from your device.
Deleting Downloaded Media on the Oculus Go Headset
Once you're there, hover over the item that you want to delete, and then click on the 3 dot menu to see the Delete option. Click it, and your troubles are over.You can
uninstall an app or
game from your headset, but it will always appear in your library.
This frees up space and clutter on your device.
- Open your Oculus Quest library.
- Go to the apps section (even if you're uninstalling a game.
- Hover your controller over the menu.
- Select uninstall.
How to install ALVR on your PC
- Navigate to the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 download page at Microsoft's Download Center.
- Click Download.
- Click vc_redist. x64.exe.
- Click Next.
- Click Run.
- Click I agree to the license…
- Click Install. (If you encounter an error, it likely means that it's already installed.)
To set up SideQuest and to install any applications, you'll need to connect your Oculus Quest and your PC.
- Connect your Oculus Quest to your PC using a USB-C cable.
- Select Connect Device in SideQuest.
- Put on your headset, and select Allow USB debugging.
- Make sure to check Always allow from this computer.
Oculus Go: Still worth buying in 2019. If you're new to VR and want to give it a try, then you should absolutely get the Oculus Go. It's affordable, and you're getting a lot of good stuff for just around $200. The Oculus Go headset is light and comfortable to wear.
Just connect your Oculus Go to your PC and then through your headset, give your computer permission to access the data. Once connected, you will then open the Windows file explorer and choose “VR- Headset.” Like Windows, you will simply connect your Oculus Go to your Chromebook.
Play SteamVR games
- Connect your headset to your PC and turn on your motion controllers.
- Once the Windows Mixed Reality home has loaded and your controllers are visible, open the Steam app on your desktop.
- Use the Steam app to launch a SteamVR game from your Steam library.
The Oculus Go is a portable VR system that gets rid of the need for cables while still offering a powerful and immersive experience. Thanks to a free app called Bigscreen, you can stream your PC's display output to the Oculus Go, essentially making it an external display that you wear on your face.

You can now manually increase the image resolution of Oculus Link, which can deliver a sharper, clearer image. UPDATE Feb 2020: As of the Oculus v13 update, increasing the Encode Resolution Width above 2784 will result in Oculus Link not working. This can be fixed by reducing it to 2784 or below.
With Oculus Link, Quest owners can access the entire library of Rift PC games via a USB-C cable. Once connected, you can use the Quest to play Rift games like Asgard's Wrath and Stormland much like you would on a Rift S.
While Boneworks is only coming to PC VR on launch, Facebook revealed at its Oculus Connect 6 VR developers conference there's another game in the Boneworks universe set to come to Oculus Quest in 2020.
