Go inside and you will find the Nailsmith here as well. Talk to him and he will thank you for not killing him, after which this achievement will unlock. If you chose to kill the Nailsmith after getting the final upgrade, that would unlock the Purity achievement but lock you out of this achievement.
There is a maximum of 6 balloons that can be alive at once and this attack only occurs after the Lost Kin has reached 1150 HP.
If you want to really maximize the amount of Geo you farm in Hollow Knight, be sure to head over to the Fungal Wastes shop and purchase the Fragile Greed Charm. This charm will boost the amount of Geo each enemy drops, making it so that the Moss Knights from the Greenpath run drop 102 Geo each.
The first attack the Broken Vessel will use is a standard dash attack, which covers around 2/3 of the fighting arena. The boss can use it while on the ground, or in midair, so observe the boss carefully as it moves. The boss will also frequently jump in the air, pause, then initiate a downward slash.

How to Acquire
- One can be found in City of Tears, in the big room with Winged Sentries and a Whispering Root just below the City Storerooms.
- One can be found in Ancient Basin, on the dead body of a Royal Retainer inside a Mawlurk corpse.
To get the Monarch Wings double jump upgrade in Hollow Knight, you'll need to make your way to the Ancient Basin and keep progressing after the Broken Vessel boss fight. The Monarch Wings double jump upgrade can be found in the chamber furthest left of the bottom level when looking at the map.
You can enter the Kingdom's Edge via a tram from the Ancient Basin or through the City of Tears. There's no Stag Station in this area which makes travelling around the area a little more cumbersome. From the tram head to the right and then up to the top of the cavern.
Geo Sigil Farm LocationsYou will be able to find the Geo Sigils in treasure chests. More specifically, you will only be able to get Geo Sigils from chests in the area guarded by the Geo god. Other areas will not give you a Geo Sigil when you open them.
Hollow Knight is not an easy game, but it certainly doesn't require the kind of player persistence of games like Sekiro. Hollow Knight is more frustrating than it is difficult, in my experience. I was discouraged from risk-taking behavior in my exploration throughout the game.

Just to the left of the room where you fought False Knight, there is a house. When you enter the house the Snail Shaman will give you magic. Then head further west from there to an area called Greenpath until you find the boss and get the item from that boss.
The physical Standard Edition for Hollow Knight is great for those who like to get limited physical releases of indie games. Hollow Knight is an excellent Metroidvania and a worthy addition to any game collection.
Head back to Dirtmouth to after defeating Hornet and you'll come across Zote again, along with a new character named Tiso.
The Path of Pain is completely optional.
Nope, completing PoP is purely for bragging rights and an extra entry in the hunter's journal which adds a bit of lore.
The Path of Pain is made up of several sections each separated by an infinitely usable Soul Totem depicting the Hollow Knight. Platforming here is very difficult and requires excessive aerial and wall movement, as well as requiring the Nail to be swung towards most of the mobile hazards to gain height.
Found in a secret area at the bottom of the Abyss known as Birthplace. The area's entrance will only open if the Kingsoul charm is equipped. At the end of the area is an egg which, upon being hit with the Awoken Dream Nail, reveals a memory of the Knight involving Vessels and the Pale King.
Kingsoul is a Charm in Hollow Knight. It generates 4 SOUL every 2 seconds. It also opens an area at the bottom of the Abyss where it can be turned into Void Heart.
This Grub is located in the Ancient Basin, just northeast of the Broken Vessel boss encounter. Hop up into the spiked area and use combinations of Mothwing Cloak, Monarch Wings, Mantis Claw, and Crystal Heart to navigate to the upper left corner, where you'll find the Grub.

The Abyss can be accessed by going to the bottom of Ancient Basin and by having the King's Brand to unlock the entrance.
To get to the Ancient Basin, retrace your course back to the arena of the Dung Defender at the Royal Waterways towards the lever that was activated to drain the acid water. From here, you'll want to enter the next section to your right then drop all the way to the bottom where you'll find a broken lift.

Nail is the term used to describe the bladed weapons wielded by several enemies, NPCs, and bosses in Hollow Knight, including the Knight. The Nailsmith in the City of Tears can upgrade the Knight's Nail up to 4 times if given enough Geo and Pale Ore, which will increase the damage of melee strikes.
