With God, all things are possible is the motto of the U.S. state of Ohio. Quoted from the Gospel of Matthew, verse 19:26, it is the only state motto taken directly from the Bible (Greek: παρ? δ? θε? πάντα δυνατά, para de Theō panta dynata).
How to Get Closer to God
- Prayers for the Year. Grab a sheet of paper, a pen and some time to think.
- Verse for the Month. Every month select a verse to memorize and pray over your family.
- Hour for the Week. Devote one hour a week to spiritual education.
- Routine for the Day. Create a brief—yes brief!
Omnipotence, they say, does not mean that God can do anything at all but, rather, that he can do anything that is possible according to his nature. The distinction is important. God cannot perform logical absurdities; he cannot, for instance, make 1+1=3.

He will give you the power to live within them and He will be with you every step of the way. God will take care of you! He will enter into your mind and into your life, and if you will let Him, He will give you knowledge and power to live your life successfully. God will take care of you in time of need.
Making a stone which is so heavy that it cannot be moved is logically possible. Therefore God, being omnipotent, can make a stone so heavy that it cannot be moved. But if God makes a stone so heavy that it cannot be moved, then God cannot move it.
The Immutability of God is an attribute that "God is unchanging in his character, will, and covenant promises." The Westminster Shorter Catechism says that "[God] is a spirit, whose being, wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness, and truth are infinite, eternal, and unchangeable." Those things do not change.
Yes. God can change history. He resides outside the confines of space/time and is both omniscient and omnipotent. God can change history as we, dwelling within the confines of space/time, know and understand it.

God, in monotheistic thought, is conceived of as the supreme being, creator, and principal object of faith. God is usually conceived of as being omnipotent (all-powerful), omniscient (all-knowing), omnipresent (all-present) and omnibenevolent (all-good) as well as having an eternal and necessary existence.
But Jesus tells us, “For mortals it is impossible, but not for God; for God all things are possible.” God gave us the Law to show us how to live righteously by loving Him and loving each other. But God's Word is both Law and Gospel.

Christian minister Erwin Lutzer argues there is some support for this saying in the Bible (2 Thessalonians 3:10, James 4:8); however, much more often God helps those who cannot help themselves, which is what grace is about (the parable of the Pharisee and the Publican, Ephesians 2:4–5, Romans 4:4–5).

The Lord's Day in Christianity is generally Sunday, the principal day of communal worship. It is observed by most Christians as the weekly memorial of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who is said in the canonical Gospels to have been witnessed alive from the dead early on the first day of the week.
In Christianity, worship is the act of attributing reverent honour and homage to God. In the New Testament, various words are used to refer to the term worship. One is proskuneo ("to worship") which means to bow down to God or kings. Orthodoxy in faith also meant orthodoxy in worship, and vice versa.
