The Quran mentions the Torah, the Zabur ("Psalms") and the Injil ("Gospel") as being revealed by God to the prophets Moses, David and Jesus respectively in the same way the Quran was revealed to Muhammad, the final prophet and messenger of God according to Muslims.
The oneness of God is of primary importance in the Quran and Islam. In the Quran, Allah is most often referred to with the pronouns Hu or Huwa, and although these are commonly translated as "him", they can also be translated gender-neutrally, as "them". This is also true of the feminine equivalent, Hiya.
Many Muslim scholars believe that Quranic verses such as "Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error" (Quran 2:256) and (Quran 18:29) show that Islam prohibits forced conversion towards people of any religion.
Beliefs/PracticesIslam is partially based on the Judeo-Christian religions. It has a monotheistic (belief in one God) message, and follows some of the same principles as Christianity and Judaism. The followers of Islam, Muslims, believe in one God, Allah, and believe Muhammad was his prophet.

There is nothing in the Bible against the use of condoms or contraception in general. But using condoms is not a sin, because it works before the egg is fertilized. But sex before marriage (fornication) is a sin, and should never be done by a Christian.

- intrauterine system, or IUS (up to 5 years)

The Quran does not prohibit birth control, nor does it forbid a husband or wife to space preg- nancies or limit their number. Thus, the great majority of Islamic jurists believe that family plan- ning is permissible in Islam.

A Mortal SinOn New Year's Eve 1930, the Roman Catholic Church officially banned any "artificial" means of birth control. Condoms, diaphragms and cervical caps were defined as artificial, since they blocked the natural journey of sperm during intercourse.
Birth control is not banned by the Church. However, as having children is essential for the spirit children of God to come to earth, Mormon couples are encouraged to have children. The Church believes that the decision on contraception is one that should be shared by husband, wife, and God.

Muhammad clearly stated that "all intoxicants are forbidden in Islam." Smoking a cigarette falls just short of this categorical ban on intoxicants. So Muslims do smoke.
Muslims are absolutely allowed to touch dogs. However, because dogs are considered unclean animals, and ritual purity is a very important thing in Islamic practice, you can't touch/pet a dog and then go on as if nothing happened.
