The Boy Scouts of America requires all Scouts to believe in a God or comparable higher power, but currently admits Scouts who are non-theistic Buddhists, Jains, and Hindus from non-theistic sectarian groups. The religious awards of all three faiths are recognized by The Boy Scouts of America.
Eagle Scout was still available to male Explorers to earn if they had earned First Class or higher in a Boy Scout Troop. The special "Explorer-only" requirements that had existed in the 60s end on December 31, 1971.

Beavers (Scouting) Beavers is one name for programs associated with Scouting for young children usually aged 5 to 7. The Beavers program was originated in Northern Ireland in the 1960s to provide a program for boys who were too young to be Cubs.

The annual membership fee is $60 (Effective January 1, 2020) which covers 12 months of membership. For only $1 a month, $12 for the year, Cub Scouts may subscribe to Boys' Life magazine. Cost of joining may vary based on the time of year when you join.There are over 54 million Scouts and Guides worldwide, with 171 national organisations governed by the World Organization of the Scout Movement and a nearly equal number governed by the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.
(CNN) It's official: Girls can now join the Boy Scouts. The first class of female Eagle Scouts will be recognized in 2020, according to Boy Scouts of America. The program for younger kids, Cub Scouts, has been welcoming girls since last year, and more than 77,000 girls have joined.

Beavers take part in a wide range of activities. These include making things, singing, playing games, going out on visits, investigating nature, listening to stories, learning how to be safe and most importantly, making new friends.

Webelos – these Scouts have finished third grade or are 10 years old. The requirements Scouts work on as Webelos contribute to earning their Arrow of Light. Arrow of Light – this is highest rank in Cub Scouts. Earning this rank prepares a Webelos Scout to become a Boy Scout.
If you have a permanent physical or mental disability, or a disability expected to last more than two years, or beyond age 18, you may become an Eagle Scout by qualifying for as many required merit badges as you can and qualifying for alternative merit badges for the rest.
