Six Flags New Orleans (SFNO) is a 140-acre, abandoned theme park in New Orleans. Originally, the park was to be called Texas Under Six Flags, before it was decided that Texas should never be under anything. Angus Wynne sold Six Flags in 1969 and in the coming years, the company expanded and was resold.
While Six Flags Entertainment operates 20 theme parks in the U.S., Mexico and Canada, only the Arlington park, Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio and Six Flags Over Georgia flew all six flags.
