Take your measurements
- Bust. Measure under your armpits, around your shoulder blades, and over the fullest part of your bust.
- Waist. Measure around your natural waistline.
- Hip. The hip should be measured around its fullest part (about 8 inch.

The 18 & 18W Are definetly different. 18W is about a size larger than a regular size 18. Misses is smaller Than womens.
An XXL is generally the largest size in Misses clothing (very rarely do you see misses/straight sizes in a 20). An XXL fits like a 1X in my experience. An XXL is NOT the same as a 2X. As a result, I've finally entered into the larger of the Misses sizes and can wear both plus and straight sized clothes.

Numeric – US women's wear usually uses 0,2,4,6, etc. The European equivalence is more directly related to actual measurements and size numbers 30,32,34,36…and so on. Other countries around the world have their own numeric sizes. Letters – XS, S,M, L, XL etc.
An XL is usually equivalent to a 1X and an XXL is like a 2X. In brands that carry a 0X, it usually falls between a Large and Extra Large, but will often have the more generous hip proportions of a women's size item.

Size 6 measurements are equivalent to those of a medium size. Sometimes, size 6 to size 10 are also considered medium, but anything exceeding that is considered large and extra-large.
In these regions, a woman wearing a size 8 to 10 is considered thin and appealing. Women who are in the 00 to 4 range might be seen as underweight.

To correctly determining your suit size, you need to measure your (1) height, (2) chest circumference, (3) hip circumference, and (4) waistband. You also need to know your (5) step length (along the leg, from crotch to the ground) and (6) your side length (from the waist over the hip to the sole).
While a size XL is designed to fit a size 16/18, she may prefer to wear a size 1X which equates to a size 14/16. This is because the plus size section was designed with curves in mind. Numerical sizes are often labeled as 14W, 16W, 18W, and so on.
