PBS is a private, non-profit corporation that serves some 350 non-commercial and educational TV stations in 50 states. Beyond PBS, the other missing players in many of the cable TV alternative services are the Viacom cable channels, which include MTV and Nickelodeon.
Since PBS is funded by members and is a non-commercial network, it offers all of its programming online – for free. In addition, some leading streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Prime carry PBS shows.

Get the Xfinity Sports Entertainment Package. Including NFL RedZone, CMT, CBS Sports Network, ESPN Goal Line & Bases Loaded, Military History Channel, Outdoor Channel, MLB Network, Turner Classic Movies, and more.It's a move based on the calculation that enough customers will pay $10 to $20 a month extra to upgrade their packages to the Digital Starter tier to keep options such as Food Network, Disney Channel, Cartoon Network, and TruTV in their lineups. Comcast has decided to move some popular channels to a pricier tier.
Basic service typically includes 30 to 40 channels including local network channels, as well as popular channels like ESPN, MTV, Discovery and AMC, among others. It costs anywhere from $10 to $25 a month. Standard digital cable, the next step up, can carry up to 100 channels.

ID CHANNEL AND WETV WATCHERS. The ID channel was removed long ago as Comcast no longer has a contract with them to carry the channel.

CBS All Access to Become Available on Xfinity X1 and Flex Boxes. CBS All Access app to become available for Xfinity X1 and Xfinity Flex boxes. Xfinity users will need an active CBS All Access account to watch the content. ViacomCBS and Comcast signed a renewal deal to continue broadcasting CBS channels across the US.
