Donna's task was to distract Betty and set her up for Jughead's murder while Bret lured him into the woods. Then, while he wasn't looking, Joan Berkeley (Doralynn Mui) crept up behind him and hit him over the head with a rock.
Amid the sinister tape mystery, we see fights break out between Betty Cooper and Jughead Jones, and Veronica Lodge and Archie Andrews, and while that may not seem as surprising, the kiss that came afterward is what we weren't expecting. Not everyone was happy though!
