The Beginning (1968-1986)
NCAA certification in 1968 to operate a postseason bowl game, dubbed the Peach Bowl. The first three contests took place at Georgia Tech's Grant Field before shifting to Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium in 1971.When is the game coming? The new NCAA rules will not take effect until 2021, and EA probably do not have the time and licenses to make a good game for release in summer 2020 even if they were allowed. However, what it does mean is we could see the return of the franchise for the 2021 season.

1. South Carolina Gamecocks. South Carolina faced the toughest schedule last season and did not get a break this year, facing the toughest once again. Clemson, LSU, Florida and Georgia could all be in the preseason top 10 this year.
Ohio State has been considered the most complete team in the FBS for most of the season. The Buckeyes have outscored opponents 543-115 (plus-428), which is better than the Tigers, at 534-258 (plus-276). Ohio State's opponents have a combined record of 67-54, which is better than LSU's at 62-60.

LSU beat Clemson 42-25 to win the national title and finish 15-0 as the only undefeated FBS team. Last season, Clemson finished 15-0 as the only undefeated team. Alabama, Notre Dame and UCF all entered bowl season undefeated.

Ryan Day's Ohio State Buckeyes are ranked number 1 in the first College Football Playoff Poll of the season. OSU finished ahead of number 2 LSU, followed by number 3 Alabama and number 4 Penn State. Defending national champ Clemson was ranked number 5 by the CFP Committee in the first of six rankings.
We've got our fourth release of the College Football Playoff Rankings, and for the second time, Ohio State is the new No. 1. After appearing in the top spot in the first set of rankings this year, LSU supplanted the Buckeyes after beating Alabama and stayed there until now.

How can you say the Clemson's season was better than LSU's when it gave up 42 points, 628 total yards (Clemson had 394), five passing TDs' (Clemson had 0), 463 passing yards (Clemson had 234), and 63% passing (Clemson had 49%)?
