As noted by Screen Rant, War Dogs is based on a true story. However, several events and details in the film were dreamed up by those behind the scenes, mostly for comedic purposes. So while it's definitely based on real people and real events, some of the scenarios never happened.

Just when you think you can't love canines any more, Netflix came out with a new docuseries, aptly titled Dogs. However, back in 2019, Netflix announced it was bringing the show back for season 2 (via Variety).
Full episodes of the current season (4th US, 8th overall) of It's Me or the Dog are now available in their entirety online on the Animal Planet website. New episodes will be available shortly after their original airdate.
