Generally speaking, the least expensive time to take a Disney cruise is in mid- to late January, early February or early May. Some weeks in March and April also have lower-than-average prices. Later in the year, September and early November and early December are good options.

What are the differences between the Disney cruise ships? Touring Plans reports that the size and feel of the staterooms are quite similar across all four Disney cruise ships. But other things differ, such as the slides and pools, the youth clubs, the restaurants, the nightclubs, and other activities.
The Disney Wonder is registered with the Bahamas. The Celebrity Apex is registered with Malta. The Caribbean Princess is registered with Bermuda. In fact, a 2015 report from the Cruise Lines International Association said that 90% of commercial vessels calling on U.S. ports fly a flag other than the American flag.
The modern iteration of Disney Cruise Line (DCL) began with Disney Magic in 1998 and Disney Wonder in 1999, sister ships carrying 1,754 passengers in 875 staterooms, with art deco and art nouveau themes, respectively. The ships were custom-built by Fincantieri at a shipyard in Italy.

After days of speculation, Carnival Cruise Line confirmed on Monday evening that it has officially canceled the remainder of its 2020 sailings. The new round of cancellations suspends voyages between December 1 and December 31, 2020.
Carnival Cruise Line is canceling sailings into early 2021 and is also selling two of its ships as COVID-19 continues to tremendously affect the travel industry. Announced this week, the cruise line canceled cruises on both their Carnival Magic and Carnival Paradise ships until March 2021.

While there is no doubt that Disney cruises are expensive for most travelers, keep in mind that they include nearly everything — all food and entertainment on the ship is included in the price. If you are a budget traveler, a 4-night trip to Disney World is much more affordable than a cruise.
Entertainment: In our opinion, this is what makes a Disney cruise worth the price for adults. Onboard, you can enjoy free first-run movies from Disney and its partners, which include Pixar, Touchstone, Lucasfilm and Marvel. They play on a loop throughout each sailing.
VOTE: CARNIVAL, hands down! Ship Decor: Disney Magic is an older ship but well kept. Disney's themed restaurants have unique decor, but Carnival's entertainment spaces are decorated better. Carnival Freedom is a newer ship but passengers are more likely to abuse it over time.

3 Night Caribbean CruiseA 3-Night Disney Cruise can surprisingly range widely in prices. You can look at paying from $2,600 – $6,300 on a 3 night Caribbean cruise. So, you are looking at $216-$525 per person per day.
For instance, if you look at the 3-night Bahamian Sailing out of Port Canaveral on September 3, 2020, the cost of having a Family of 5 in one Category 8B (outside) stateroom is $3474.55. The cost of splitting that family up over two inside staterooms still comes out at $3799.81 and you lose the view.
Disney said a medium package of 300 MB would be good for users who want to share vacation photos right away. It costs $39, or about 13 cents per MB, while the heavy-use package of 1 gigabyte costs $89, or 9 cents per MB.
Formal nights on a cruise are not mandatory and it is almost always possible to skip formal night if you don't want to attend. Skipping formal night may mean dining in a different restaurant, the buffet, or having room service delivered.
A balcony may absolutely be worth it to you, but probably not if these are your primary reasons: 1) You're looking for a place to smoke. You can't smoke on cruise ship balconies. Guest demand has made most areas on most ships non-smoking, but in this case the reason is largely safety.
