Borderlands 4 release date is not officially confirmed but will hear something about this game from the developers in the year 2021. It can take anywhere between 5-8 years for the 4th iteration in the game to come out. There are very few chances for the game release date in 2022 because of how big borderlands DLC are.
Borderlands 3 was the best selling game in the Borderlands series, selling over five million copies within the first 5 days of its release, and reaching 8 million by the end of 2019.
Borderlands 3 has managed to sell over five million copies in its first five days - doubling the amount Borderlands 2 sold in its first week of release and making it the fastest-selling game 2K has ever made. The Borderlands franchise has now generated over $1bn in sales, becoming only the second 2K franchise to do so.
Digging into the detail, Epic paid $115m for the Borderlands 3 deal. This included a minimum guarantee of $80m, a marketing commitment of $15m, and a one-off fee of $20m. Also included are "bundled 2K deals". As part of this, Epic paid $11m for the Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, and $20m for Civilization 6.
According to publisher 2K, Borderlands 3 shipped more than five million copies in five days from release. With these sales, the total Borderlands franchise has made more than US$1 billion in revenue. The game had sold more than 8 million copies by the end of 2019, according to Take-Two.
The Borderlands IP has sold over 60 million copies to date across four mainline games, and has generated over $1 billion in revenues. Roughly 1/6th of these sales came from Borderlands 3, which has now crested 10 million shipments globally. In total, Gearbox Entertainment's games have sold 100 million units combined.
With level increases and new characters, it's easy to see why some fans prefer BL2 over 3. Not only is there a long main story to go through, but there are multiple endgame bosses you can fight, sidequests to complete, and 6 characters to level up to the ludicrous level 72 cap.
Borderlands 3 is not necessarily a difficult game, but if you are not utilizing some of the mechanics of the game, it will certainly seem like one. For a newcomer entering into a long-running series, it can be quite intimidating. Maybe current fans of the genre never jumped on the Borderlands train.
The game lag and stuttering issues might be caused by either network or frame rate (FPS) problem. If you come across Borderlands 3 stuttering and lag in both online and offline modes, then the frame rate problem is very likely the culprit of the issue and you should take actions to increase your FPS.
Borderlands 2 was an impeccable game that did so many things right. At the time it was one of the first grind and loot based games, but it featured an incredibly hilarious and motivating storyline, phenomenal gun play, great character RPG elements and a high amount of replay value.

With PS5 and Xbox Series X in its hands, developer Gearbox's first port of call it seems is to give Borderlands 3 the next-gen treatment. Through a sizeable patch, the studio taps into the strengths of each machine with two modes - targeting 60fps and 120fps respectively.
Borderlands 3 is one of the first PS5 optimized titles available with a free upgrade from the PS4 version.

BL3's endgame (DLC included): 6 repeatable Trials, 3 repeatable Slaughters, two raids/Takedowns, Arms Race (debatable as it's not exclusively end-gamey and you can't use your builds there) And whatever is in DLC6 and whatever hinted-at-by-GBX raid bosses show up in the near future.
BL3 for me was a hard decision. But overall, I would say yes. Although the story is utter garbage (in my opinion), the gunplay is by far the best in the series and there are enough legendaries to keep you entertained through the whole game.
The current max level in Borderlands 3 is capped at level 72. When you reach the maximum level cap, you won't gain any experience points (XP) that count towards your character's level progression. Therefore, you won't be able to unlock new skill points beyond that point.
This is no brainer that Borderlands 3 has significantly better graphics and smoother gameplay compared to Borderlands 2. This issue was perfectly addressed by Gearbox in Borderlands 3 and there is no denying that the game feels much better in terms of gameplay and graphics when compared to Borderlands 2.
While Borderlands 3's campaign on PS4, Xbox One, and PC will be similar in length to Borderlands 2, it's a "much bigger" game than its predecessor.
