Visitor Visa (also known as Tourist Visa or B2 Visa) is a non-immigrant visa issued to people entering U.S. temporarily for pleasure, tourism, or medical treatment.
For many passengers headed to the USA, an ESTA is required. If you are heading to Canada, an eTA may be necessary. Do I need an eTA? No. As long as you travel with a valid U.S. passport, you do not need an eTA to enter Canada. American citizens, including American-Canadian citizens, must carry proper identification and meet the basic requirements to enter Canada.

Yes. You can leave Canada and return as long as your visitor visa or Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) is still valid. If your visitor visa or eTA is expired, you must apply for and receive a new one before you leave.

The B1 visa is issued mainly for short-term business trips, while the B2 visa is issued mainly traveling for tourism purposes. Those who may be involved in some kind of business activities while in the U.S. are encouraged to check the content of such activities and their period in advance.
