Most recently, Amazon added Whole Foods to its list of Prime Now-eligible stores in cities across the country. Whole Foods delivery is now available in 63 cities, as of October.
Availability: Unfortunately, Amazon Prime Now is currently only available in select major cities across the U.S., and some locations have limited store options. When I placed my order, I wasn't even able to order directly from Amazon; Whole Foods was my only option.
The one difference we did note right away: Amazon Prime Now is included in the cost of your Amazon Prime subscription. AmazonFresh also requires you to be an Amazon Prime subscriber but then charges an additional $14.99 per month on top of that.
In total, Amazon was 10.4 percent more expensive to shop at for the products listed. But look at just the Food & Beverages category and Amazon was cheaper by a whopping 22.51 percent. But if you're a loyal Walmart shopper for groceries, it's worth checking out Amazon to compare the products you frequently buy.
You should consider tipping at least a $5 for the Prime Now delivery person. If you have multiple packages to carry, or there is no lift serving to your floor, it makes sense to tip $10-$15 depending on the difficulty of the task.
Buying your groceries online can be a huge time-saver, but a new study reveals just how much you're paying for that convenience. According to a survey of prices conducted by Anthem Marketing Solutions, online grocery shopping carries a premium of about 25% over its offline counterpart.

Amazon's fees are calculated on both sell price and shipping. So it would be impossible for them to manipulate price/shipping balance in order to get out of paying fees.
The ebay fees are cheaper and you can control whether or not to accept returns. Ebays fees are less expensive than Amazon but many sellers send their products in and let Amazon ship and their shipping costs are generally cheaper. There are also generally more sellers on Amazon so competition can make margins slimmer.

Amazon changes prices all the time based on time of day. "Price discrimination differentiation is simply put trying to charge different people, different prices for the same item, based on their willingness to pay."
Amazon Prime is $119 for an annual membership or $12.99 per month, though there are special discounts for students and EBT and Medicaid holders. Even for $119, Amazon Prime is still ultimately a great deal if you plan to use its features, whether sparingly or frequently.
