Oats are a really versatile ingredient for many cooks and on Slimming World. They are one of the healthy extra B choices so a popular choice too. The current Slimming World allowance is 40g for the healthy extra b choice of any plain oats.
Sweet Potatoes - This is a very common misconception. Obviously, sweet potatoes are much better for you than normal potatoes. However, they are not a speed food. They are free, but it is generally best to limit the amount that you have due to the high numbers of carbohydrates.
Low calorie snacks such as Snack A Jacks or low calorie fruit, like strawberries or pineapple, are also counted as free food. Free food is unlimited according to Slimming World but is recommended in moderation.

- Fish. Fish is a good source of iodine and selenium, minerals that promote thyroid gland function, which regulates metabolism.
- Green tea.
- Yogurt.

Tomato puree is now syn free.
VEGETABLES. All vegetables below whether they are fresh, frozen and canned are classed as Speed foods. They can be roasted, pureed, boiled or raw.
Protein is vital for growth, maintenance and repair in the body and we should eat some every day. Foods rich in protein include meat, fish, poultry, eggs, beans, pulses and nuts. Some vegetarian options, like Quorn, soya and tofu products, are good sources of protein, too.
There is nothing particularly “fattening†about rice, so its effects on weight must come down to serving size and the overall quality of your diet.

Plain dried pasta and noodles are still Free. It's only pasta and noodle snack pots and sachets (like Naked Noodles, Mug Shots, Kabuto, Super Noodles and Pasta 'n' Sauce products) that will now carry a Syn value!! They've been changed as Slimming World often review products to ensure they're ok!

As far as shopping goes i also stock up on lean mince, chicken, pork etc all meat with skin and fat trimmed off is free.
