it depends on the situation. in the real world, as opposed to in a fighting ring, the doberman is way faster and smarter. if they get together and mix it up, the pit bull has the advantage. the pit wins most encounters as it was bred for fighting other dogs, whereas the dobie is bred to repel or capture humans.
