Can I fight a pitbull and win? Well yes. Probably because a pit bull won't attack you, firstly because these dogs are not seen in cities nor populated areas, and secondly because pit bulls are not human aggressive by nature. These dogs are unpredictable because they aren't from any breed.
Here are five dogs with extremely powerful jaws.
- Mastiff - 552 pounds. The Mastiff takes the crown with a reported bite force of 552 pounds.
- Rottweiler - 328 pounds. Rotties are known for being fierce and strong dogs.
- American Bulldog - 305 pounds.

While Pit Bulls are not good guard dogs because they just love people so much, they may intercede if someone threatens “their” humans. Pit Bulls are great with children. Pit Bulls are a loyal, people-oriented breed that thrive as part of the family. They are affectionate with both adults and children.
Pit bulls are faster and more athletic then Rotties. They also were breed for dog fighting so they have the edge there. "The motivation for lots of dog bites is fear," he says. "Others are territorial - if they're guarding something that they highly value, or defending their favourite resting place, their bed Or if they've learned to defend, say, a dog bowl - that can result in aggression."
A pit bull will bite with around 300 pounds of pressure, which is a little less than your average dog bite.
American Pit Bull Terriers are devoted and loyal to their family and will, if necessary, defend them to the death. These dogs are extremely intelligent and learn commands and tricks with ease. They have a zest for life and love to be involved in everything going on around them.
Some pit bulls were selected and bred for their fighting ability. That means that they may be more likely than other breeds to fight with dogs. The results revealed that human skulls, far from being weak, are quite tough and unusually efficient for their size. Our second molars can exert a bite force between 1,100 and 1,300 Newtons, beating the orang-utan, gibbon and Australopithecus but lagging behind the gorilla, chimp and Paranthropus.

The American Bulldog is a lover and will not make a good guard dog. However, their watchdog capabilities are excellent. Pit bulls are about average when it comes to aggressive behavior towards people. They are high on the list of aggression toward other dogs -- but not the highest. And even though a pit bull is strong enough to do a lot of damage when it does bite -- it does not bite differently than any other dog.
Resist the impulse to scream and run away. Remain motionless, hands at your sides, and avoid eye contact with the dog. Once the dog loses interest in you, slowly back away until it is out of sight. If the dog does attack, "feed" it your jacket, purse, bicycle or anything you can put between yourself and the dog.
