Fiverr works in much the same way as Odesk. Except that at Odesk, they act as a payment processor and directly credit the money to the seller's bank account once the amount is cleared. On Odesk the seller can see your email id and other details. On Fiverr, when you pay for a gig, it goes to Fiverr's Escrow account.
Fiverr is safe. First off, know that when you pay your money this does NOT go to the freelancer doing your work straight away. Fiverr holds the payment until you are completely satisfied with the job. Fiverr is a very popular marketplace – and rightly so, but as with any other crowded market you must do your homework.
To contact a seller:
- Once logged in, find a Gig you are interested in and click the thumbnail.
- Once on the Gig page, you can read the seller's profile to the right and click Contact Me.
- Type your message and click Send.
Buyer Requested Cancellations: Buyers can request a cancellation as long as the order isn't in “status completed”. If the seller doesn't respond within 48 hours the order will be cancelled. Another option is if an order is late, then a buyer can cancel without the need of the seller's approval.
- Login to your account.
- Go to settings on right top corner of web page and choose “bank accounts” from the drop down menu. There you will find an option to add a new account and remove the old one.
You can view your Fiverr account balance to view earnings, reimbursements, Fiverr credits, and more. To view your account balance, click your profile image and then Settings > Balance. Here you can view the following: Your current Fiverr balance.

Setting up a Bank Transfer
- Once logged in, from the Selling menu, click Earnings.
- In the Withdraw area, click Bank Transfer. Only available funds that have been cleared can be withdrawn.
- Click the link within the email. You will arrived at a landing page.
- Click Get Started. You will go through the process of setting up your Payoneer account.
The Fiverr Revenue Card is one of Fiverr's withdrawal providers. Supported through Payoneer and powered by MasterCard, the Fiverr Revenue Card brings your revenues to the palm of your hand, anywhere you go. Fees are charged by MasterCard.
Well, It totally depends on your Seller Level. If you are a Level One or Level Two seller, It will take 14 days for the payments to get cleared. And if you are a Top Rated Sellers, It will take 7 days to get the payments cleared.

- Complete orders and respond to people as quickly as possible.
- Don't worry about upsells in the beginning - you need sales.
- Post your gig on social media / forums (not spamming - where relevant)
