The producers and distributors of shows on Netflix make money through the licensing fees that Netflix pays them to stream their shows. Netflix makes money from these shows through the subscription fee its users pay to see them.

Promote titles
- All press releases, social media posts, and promotions that mention Amazon or use the Amazon logo must be submitted to PVD-PR@amazon.com for approval before release.
- You can't promote your title or announce its availability on Prime Video until it has been selected for publication.
To sell a movie on Amazon, a filmmaker needs to sign up for a free CreateSpace account, enter information about the movie, set a price and then mail in a DVD copy of the movie. CreateSpace will then process the video for Amazon Instant Video and pay the filmmaker 50 percent of the sales revenue.
