And that is exactly what happens when VIPKID classes are available for parents to book. VIPKID teachers are allowed to plan their schedules as far out as they'd like, however, parents aren't allowed to book classes until two weeks beforehand.

I would not bother applying to VIPkid unless you are a certified ESL teacher. A big reason why is a lot of actual certified ESL teachers with multiple years of experience work here and if you are someone with teaching experience and a random degree that got hired (like me) then it is very difficult to get booked.
You can teach while your child is sleeping and not have to pay for childcare. Just make sure there's someone who can tend to your kid if they wake up since you won't be able to leave in the middle of class. If you're one of the many people stuck at home right now and in need of work, VIPKID is definitely worth it.
Conclusion. VIPKID can look just about however you want it to: You can turn it into a full-time job and work all hours of the night, earning $4,000 per month. Or you can do what I do and teach a few hours each morning, earning between around $150 and $700 per month depending on your schedule.
Is there a maximum number of hours a teacher could teach? VIPKid sets no limit on how much a teacher can teach - you have 100% control over your schedule. However, non-peak times may not be as popular amongst our students as they are not available for classes (they are likely in school or asleep).
