UK aid to India: UK no longer gives money to Indian government. The Sun reported in its Boxing Day edition that the UK government plans to provide £98 million in aid to India over a two-year period even though it is expected to become the world's third biggest economy by 2030.
The UK's £14 billion foreign aid budget is being spent in too many wealthy countries with not enough going to the poorest nations, a critical report by UK aid's funding watchdog has found.

Donor countries offer foreign aid to poor countries while bargaining for economic influence of the poor or receiving countries, and policy standards that allow donor countries to control economic systems of poor countries, for the benefit of the donor countries.
Over the course of the 2018 fiscal year, the US government took in $3.329 trillion. This number reflects the amount of money the government earned from revenue, both taxes and miscellaneous sources (or nontax revenue, an insignificant source).
More recently, in fiscal year 2019, the US provided $3.8 billion in foreign military aid to Israel. Israel also benefits from about $8 billion of loan guarantees. In addition to fostering stability, promoting economic growth and reducing poverty, foreign assistance also spreads American influence throughout the world and enhances America's reputation and standing. And fewer still realize the benefits to Americans and American companies that stem from foreign aid.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) compiled and published a data in 2015 indicating that from the period 1946-2012, India has been the recipient of highest aid from United States. The amount of economic aid, adjusted to inflation then, was reported to be USD 65.1 billion.
