That's basically all there is to it! You just have to complete the Safi'Jiva Siege in MHW, farm it for Awakened Weapons and Dracolite, and continue leveling until you get the exact build you want.
Resentment will only trigger if its between those periods. All bows and bowguns using raw/element will always benefit with health augment. There is plenty of space by staying just a few feet away from the monster. Your resentment buff will always go off.
The armour set you will earn from taking the monster out sounds rather cool. Once you have the entire set bonus active, the gear will change form. As far as the weapons are concerned, once you defeat the monster you will receive Awakened versions.

Safi'jiiva Siege can now scale for one or two Hunters.
Safi'jiiva is a weird monster even compared to Kulve: instead of having a fixed HP that you have to bring down to get the kill, he heals himself repeatedly throughout the fight with the energy drains and can only be actually killed when he has no energy left to heal. Safi has a total of 40k HP.

The Safi'jiiva Siege is a special quest where you team up with all hunters in your Gathering Hub to slay Safi'jiiva. The Safi'jiiva siege is only available for a limited time in the Gathering Hub. Players can join a siege in progress but SOS flares cannot be used.
Safi's Bindclaws is a special dual blades weapon that can only be obtained through the Safi'jiiva Siege quest, and cannot be upgraded.

The Silver Rathalos is a powerful monster but is weak to thunder and water. Therefore, it is best to use a weapon with elemental water or thunder damage.
