The RBT® Ethics Code describes the ethical requirements for both RBTs and RBT applicants. All RBTs and RBT applicants must agree to abide by this code. Therefore, each RBT® must receive supervision at least 5 percent of the time they are providing ABA services each month. Supervision must include at least two, face-to-face contacts each month, during which the supervisor observes the RBT® performing ABA services.

A RBT is a Registered Behavior Technician. A BCBA or BCaBA will provide assessments of children and create treatment plans, but a RBT can still provide direct behavior analysis services (or ABA therapy) to clients. They may also be referred to as a “paraprofessional.” How do you become a Registered Behavior Technician?
A typical day at work it was fun and rewarding. Working with kids it is really challenging because working with kids it is not easy but it is a fulfilling job. I work an average day of 5 hours where I see two different clients and follower the BCBA program of teaching the client.
RBTs can now be supervised by a “noncertified RBT supervisor.” Noncertified RBT supervisors are licensed behavioral health providers in good standing who can document experience in ABA and who have completed the eight-hour BACB supervisor training.
In summary, the things that an individual must do to become an RBT include being at least 18 years old, having at least a high school diploma or something equivalent, completing 40 hours of training in applied behavior analysis including ethics, completing a background check, and completing the RBT Competency

The role of the ABA Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is to provide home and community based ABA services to Verbal Beginnings' clients.
