Here is what to do if your iPhone screen shattered in OtterBox. The company provides a warranty for the case only and not your iPhone. So, if the case gets damaged, they will replace it, but they will never replace your iPhone's screen. OtterBox will do nothing to replace the screen.

I am disappointed but Otterbox say they guarantee it from yellowing. UPDATE: Otterbox does NOT honor their warranty!!! I contacted them 3 times because my cover yellowed. You are suppose to pay the shipping for replacement.

Out of the three cases, the only case that we've tested in terms of drop protection is the Otterbox Defender. We're giving Otterbox the benefit of the doubt by saying it will protect your iPhone from 6.6 ft drops but in our drop test, we threw in 40 ft in the air. The iPhone 6 is fine though a little bent.
Between the Otterbox Defender and Defender Pro, the biggest obvious difference in texture is the removal of the Apple cutout on the Otterbox Defender Pro. But if you look closely at the TPU cover, youʼll see the Otterbox Defender Pro has a lot more texture which theoretically will enhance the grip on the case.
