Sticker Pass adheres to the inside of the front windshield in an area near the rearview mirror as shown in the illustration. The pass should be placed below any metalized sun strips or visor tints. The top of your pass should be no more than 6” below the roofline of the vehicle.They can breeze through the SunPass ONLY, E-PASS ONLY and LeeWay ONLY toll lanes throughout the Sunshine State. How Does It Work? Cameras take a photo of the rental car's license plate as it goes through the toll lane and sends a bill for the tolls to the rental company's tolling program vendor.
The good news about interoperability
Some states are compatible with other states. For example, Florida's SunPass works with Georgia's Peach Pass and North Carolina's Quick Pass. It's also scheduled to become interoperable with South Carolina, Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas this year.SunPass is accepted in just three states currently: Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. E-ZPass is accepted in 18 states.
Function. Metallized windshields protect the interiors of vehicles against harmful ultraviolet rays from the sun. They also keep interiors cooler by reflecting the infrared heat of the sun. Peel off the top portion sticker tag. DO NOT bend the sticker tag. If the tag is bent, the reader chip may be damaged and it will not work properly. Secure sticker tag (TOP STICKER ONLY) on the INSIDE of your windshield in the lower left corner.

Yes, transponders will continue to register while paying cash. You can remove your Portable Transponder and place it in the RF shield bag to keep it from being charged, but since the SunPass Mini Transponder cannot be removed from the windshield it will most likely be charged.
You can use the SunPass mini or plastic box transponders with a rental car.
- Window cleaner. Spray window cleaner on the sticker, use a razor blade to chip away at it, and pull the sticker up slowly.
- Rubbing alcohol. Apply rubbing alcohol to the sticker and wait a few minutes before peeling away from the glass.
- Goo Gone. Goo Gone's main purpose is removing stickers and sticker residue.
- Ice.
- WD-40.
