The Android Mobile Device
Not all android phones can perform biometric scans to register or identify someone. Besides, regular fingerprint sensor found in today's smartphones are only good for unlocking your phone.Once the Biometric is locked, the Aadhaar holder will not be able to use their Biometrics (fingerprints/iris) for authentications and neither can anyone else, thus preventing potential misuse. The process has been kept simple and once locked, it will temporarily get unlocked for only ten minutes.
Technically it is possible to have multiple Aadhar Card issued if we rely of finger print and iris match. So if such as system was in place which is so robust and fast then entering the Aadhar number should be required anywhere people should be able to get the details of a person via their fingerprint.
Aadhaar Biometric Data
An individual has to submit all three sets of data at the time of enrolling for Aadhaar. When the person goes to an Aadhaar Card Centre to get his details updated or know any information related to Aadhaar, he has to provide either his fingerprints or iris scan for verification.Unlocking biometrics cannot be done without OTP, OTP would be sent to your registered Aadhaar Mobile Number and by entering that OTP only you can unlock your Aadhaar Biometrics. OTP just acts as a additional security. As a part of security, its not possible to unlock the biometrics without the help of Biometrics.
Remove the registered fingerprint; Go to "Settings" -> "Sound & vibration", turn off "Screen locking sounds"; Return to "Settings" -> "Lock screen & password" and setup 2 minutes; Then enter fingerprints like that: first time touch the sensor with a dry finger, second time with moisten (not wet!)
